Fashion Roxx Magazine; A luxe beauty and lifestyles guide
is currently looking to expand our team by some 2500 in the upcoming months. Personnel is needed for dynamic events and associate Interns for the Spring 2016 semester.
All states and areas welcome.
This is the perfect opportunity for a current or recent grad plus high students to become immersed in the fashion events industry by planning some of the most exciting fashion brunches, runway shows, networking events and tradeshows across the country and abroad.

By participating you will receive essential event knowledge, necessary hands-on experience, and study sessions with our team of professionals. Upon successful completion of the internship, the candidate will receive an evaluation of their work and a recommendation letter from the Fashion Roxx! events team.Intern MUST be available at least three (3) full days a week from Monday to Thursday.Events Intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to, the following listed below: This is a non-paid internship.
No pay will be given for first 90 days after successful completion you will be transition to staff and receive monetary compensation.
Events Assistance
Assist with the coordination of all Fashion Roxx events, managing contact lists, filing contracts, gathering exhibitor information, creating labels and other events materials
Manage back-end of registration database, create attendee discount codes, make requested changes to registered attendees, and act as general customer service representative for attendees
Volunteer Operations
Assist Event Manager with recruiting volunteers for Fashion Roxx networking events, runway shows, fundraisers, sponsored pageant events
Develop volunteer documents including schedules, contact spreadsheets, and informational letters
- Industry Research
Research and develop relationships with local associations
Maintain strategic partnerships for marketing promotions for all events
Check association/industry calendars for upcoming events
- App Management
Upload and maintain data on the Fashion Roxx social media pages website
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Event Management or other related concentration
- Previous internship experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent communication skills, especially writing
- Detail oriented
- Available 3 full days per week from Monday to Thursday
- Outgoing, professional, and confident personality
- Comfortable working independently and taking the lead
